Barcamp Battambong 2013 - Me and Random things there

It was a great opportunity to be able to join Barcamp Battambong 2013 which is a part of Barcamp Cambodia event. We leave Phnom Penh on 24th May in the easy morning by bus after gathering in front of National Education Institute near Independent Monument.

We arrived Battambong town in the afternoon. After checking in to the guest house (I share the room with Kimhak and Visal), some dudes and me relax a bit before going out with other by Bus to Banon Mountain, unfortunately we miss the bus because may be we took so long shower :( . But that's doesn't matter. Later on that night, we just go to eat something along the Steng Songke in a big group. The weird things that ngith is that, we arrive the guest house at 10 pm or so, but Visal always vomit and feel not good, so after some hours, we (I and Kimhak) decide to bring him to eat poures at the same place again.

The next days, on Saturday is the day that the event happens (in BBU University), I attend some good session, what I love the most is about "Twitter Bootstrap". Even if I no longer work technically daily, but I have to follow the trend in web design and development, "Less" is also what I learn so much there, but actually the speaker sucks! LOL.

We had a party networking night and since we were late, we almost has no foods left to eat @@. Thank Phearon that always come to wake us up every morning, as well as evening that we sleep because we are tired or sth. That party end with some dancing and it is great since that restuarant is also located along the Steng Sangke too. After that, we have another party in the local club, what is the funny the most is that we see so many gays there. I was shocked when I went to male WC and found so many female-dress gays there. LOL.

Don't know all of them, a few hours before we left back to Phnom Penh.

Finally we come back to Phnom Penh on Sunday afternoon and arrive here in the evening. Barcamp Battambong end up with some new friend and some good memory. Was Such a good time we will never forget.

Khmer New Year And Me!

Just another quick post:

This Khmer New Year time this year is so much fun. A day before (13 - April),was a party which gathering with old University friend (SG7 team) in a whole afternoon until 9pm or sth.

On the first day of Khmer New Year, we left Phnom Penh for Prey Veng where my dad lives there, and then head to my mom's homeland on 15th. We back to Phnom Penh on 16 evening and the whole Khmer New Year seems so fast,

12 AM now, Good Night!

It is not that so comfortable when sometime you are not sure yourself with some thing and you feel insecure with it.

There is Khmer New Year soon, less than a week to go. No where to go, just to visit my home town. Because the time is not appropriate, we miss a plan to go to Siem Reap during this holiday, I want to go but my mum worry that I am a new driver should not drive so that long, I worry too and finally we decide not to go.

Yeh! Just wish all of you to meet good things in the upcoming Khmer New Year day! Good Health, More Money, Beautiful Life and Happiness.

Productivity Tip : Read more with Pocket!

 

I saw one of my friends using it and I asked what is that and he let me know that it is called "pocket", a simple bookmarking tools that saves the link of articles to read later.

It is simple, Pocket is a Chrome Extention, Firefox add on, Web App, iOS App and Android App. What you can do is that you register a free account with it and then you can install it on your browser and bookmark aything you want to read later with pocket. And if you install their app (android or iOS app), you will be able to syn it to read in your smart phone or any other place such as their own web app. This Will save you a lot of time when you see an interesting article but don't have time to read it and wish to read later.

I installed it on my Firefox as Addon and then I syn all link to my Android App on my phone. When I have time to read, I read on my smart phone since it format the article and image correctly to be view in smart phone which really save me a lot of time.

The special thing is that you can set it to automatically download all article to read offline in your smart phone anytime. I really like it!!

Happy Birthday to me!

21 years ago today, I was born. The time moves very fast and the each birthday date remind us about adding a number to our age.

As every year, I have no party on my BD. It looks to shy to do so. LOL!  Let celebrate it silently in heart.

Thank all friends who wish me on Facebook and wanna tell them I wish them too.

1 year older but it is still fine. 21, not too old :P.

Sick of People!

People! I did understand much about people especially the types of friend I currently have and the type of people around me.

This post is not to attack anyone :D (in case you are my friend in person). I just want to mean that I almost getting sick of this world that having so many types of people in this world. :D
